About The Pineland Pork Co.

The Pigs

We are currently raising Idaho Pasture Pigs (IPP) on our family's forested land. These pigs are a unique breed developed for small-scale farming and sustainable pork production.

IPPs are a mix between a Duroc, Kunekune, and Berkshire pig. The meat of the IPP is higher in omega-3 fatty acids, with a deep red color and sweeter flavor compared to conventional pork. The Idaho Pasture Pig is a fantastic choice for superior flavor!

Taste the difference in how your food is raised when you try our meat from forest to fork.

Why Pineland Pork?

We are a local NC, small farm raising our pigs with non-GMO products and freedom to roam. Non-GMO feed and small farm living provides significant benefits compared to mass-produced, commercially raised meat.

Here’s why it matters:

Quality & Nutrition
Healthier Meat: Small farms often prioritize animal welfare and natural diets, leading to more nutritious meat.

Non-GMO Products: Animals raised on non-GMO feed avoid exposure to genetically modified crops.

Animal Welfare & Ethical Farming
Better Living Conditions: We provide our animals with humane environments: ability to roam, reducing stress and promoting healthier growth.

Flavor & Quality Control

Better Taste: Meat from smaller farms often has superior flavor and texture due to careful breeding, diet, and less processing.
